Rezon8Angels Group

Rezon8Angels is a group of successful entrepreneurs, CEOs, and angel investors who pool their financial resources and business expertise to invest in companies at all stages of growth. Rezon8Angels is led by K. Paul Singh, the Founder and CEO of Rezon8 Capital & Advisory Group.

Investment Selection Criteria

Is your company looking for an investment? Rezon8Angels might be a potential source of capital. While the dynamics of each investment vary, Rezon8Angels typically evaluates investment opportunities according to the following broad criteria:

Type of Company/Sector: We invest in technology-driven service companies in fast growing sectors.
Company Stage: We prefer companies that have a differentiated and sustainable business model supported by recurring revenue from multiple customers. Furthermore, we prefer investing in companies that have bootstrapped themselves to their current size and in which the infusion of Rezon8Angels’ capital and business expertise can accelerate their growth and profitability.
Company Location: We invest in companies headquartered within the Richmond-New York City corridor with preference given to companies located within a 2-hour driving radius of Washington, DC.
Rezon8Angels Fund Size

Rezon8Angels has an initial funding commitment of $1,000,000. In addition to expanding our founding team of angels by adding new experienced, accredited investors, the group is teaming up with other local, national, and global angel and investor groups to give broad exposure to its portfolio companies that may assist with future business development and funding.

Investment Amounts
Rezon8Angels investments may range from $50,000 to $250,000 per company. In select cases, Rezon8 Capital & Advisory Group may syndicate the deal to raise more capital.
Investment Application and Selection Process

The following process is observed when companies apply to Rezon8Angels for an investment:

  • Companies that meet the broad requirements stated above should submit an Executive Summary of their business on the “Submit an Executive Summary” page of this website.
  • After reviewing your presentation, Rezon8Angels will notify you if you have been chosen to present at the next investor meeting.
  • You will give a short presentation (up to 8 minutes in length) to the Rezon8Angels judging panel at the next investor meeting. Your presentation will be followed by a Q&A session. All investors who attend will be verified accredited investors.
  • You will be notified of our decision whether or not to proceed with the due diligence process within 15 days of your investor presentation.
We recommend reviewing the helpful advice on crafting a successful investor pitch presentation by Steve Bowman, “The Pitch Doctor.”
…[Focus] on telling the story (not history) of why your company is on to something great. Clarify the source of the opportunity, the customer pain and value proposition, what your solution is and how you know customers will buy it, how you intend to grow and defend market share, where you are now in the process, the size and intensity of the market, your cost and revenue expectations, and how much investment capital you need and what for. Why are you and your team the right people in the right place to make this happen? Why are [you] so sure you’ll win? Rezon8Angels Group (Source: http://bizclarity.com/handout-basics/)
